Mixed Messages

I love our bathroom wall clock. 

Whereas other clocks are hung up on being exact, precise, and punctual, ours puts up a laid-back and easy-going attitude.

He's flexible, approximate, and not-to-be rushed.  He offers suggestions, gentle reminders, and sometimes a mixed message.

This is why, right now, it appears to be both slightly before and slightly after 8 o'clock, all at the same time.

No wonder I'm always late!
