Drinking Kool-Aid Again

I've decided to go back to drinking Kool-Aid.

I know this contradicts the prospects of completely dedicating myself to my lemonade stand sales, but whatever. The smiling pitcher man puts a smile on my face. :-)

I think we all stopped drinking Kool-Aid in the early '90s because we thought we were growing up and were wise to the fact that it consisted of so much sugar. But when I compare the ingredients of iced tea or soda with that of Kool-Aid, it is the latter which seems to be the healthiest.

Sure, it's just sugar water that's been dyed, but its ingredients are much more simpler than the long list in soda and iced tea, plus there's no caffeine.

A single pack costs only 20 cents, and it's soooo easy to make! I bought 10 packs at the grocery store yesterday, but 3 of them were eagerly gobbled up by the conveyor belt, a sure sign that they are a rare but special treat -- and that I'm not the only one who enjoys them!

I'm stirring up a pitcher of it right now, and I'm throwing in tons of ice cubes. :-)
