Welcome to My Prayer Room!

I've made one of the rooms of my house into a Prayer Room! I've always wanted to do this, and I am so thankful to have the ability now, with owning my own home!

There is no furniture in the Prayer Room except for the stands upon which the statues sit. So you can sit or lay on the hardwood floor as you read the Bible or pray, and I have an assortment of pillows and blankets for you to sit on also.

This picture is only half of the room, so it is a bit bigger than how it appears here. There are many other beautiful statues and pictures on the other two walls! But the rest you will just have to see when you actually enter the room!

I have a little guest book near the door, so that you can write down your prayer intentions and I will thus remember to pray for them with you. And the Prayer Room is blessed with the presence of several first class relics (these being tiny bone fragments) of St. Catherine Laboure, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Teresa Margaret Redi of the Sacred Heart, St. Vincent Strambi, Bl. Francis Xavier Seelos, and Servant of God Michael J. McGivney. There is even a second class relic (a little piece of the habit) of my beloved St. Therese of Lisieux!

If you stop by to visit and take the time to say a little prayer in the Prayer Room, be sure to help yourself to a free gift from my "Religious Grab Basket" on your way out! There's all kinds of randomness in there, from Brown Scapulars to Miraculous Medals and from Rosaries to the occasional mini-statue. Free books and pamphlets abound! :-)
