Today was so much fun!I had the 7A Team of teachers over to my house to celebrate the start of the school year, out on my deck!
There is a magical feeling that comes upon me when this house fills with people who are laughing and being merry. I want that feeling all the time!
Everyone seemed to enjoy the tour of the house. They seemed fascinated by my plethora of fake food, the color choice of my decor, and my Prayer Room!
I even let them all sneak up into my unfinished Wardrobe to see how just messy me and my clothes can get. Tee-hee!
Bill brought me a lovely hanging pot of purple flowers! Christie brought me an arrangement of glued candies that are meant to be looked at and not eaten, which is PERFECT for my decor! Barb brought me a lovely plant in a basket and made her delicious pasta salad! Jeni and Dave each gave me bottles of wine!There was tons of food left over. When everyone left, my neighbor Emma came by with a plate of freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies that said "Celebrate!" on them. How kind!
She stayed and talked with me for a while, and when she left to go home, I sent her with a whole brown paper bag full of yummy goodies. She laughed, saying she didn't expect to leave with more food than she came with!
