On the drive home from my friend Amy's house party tonight, I saw a shooting star.
It was the most beautiful one I've ever seen because it was the closest that I have ever seen one!
It was a cloudy night tonight, but this shooting star came right through them. It was all fiery and white, and it burned up and disappeared immediately thereafter.
I suppose it was actually a meteor, but I'm pretty sure the "shooting star" notion includes anything fiery that moves and burns up in the sky, whether that be from comets, meteors, or actual stars. Right?
What a special surprise. I feel so lucky that I got to see it, and I very well may have been the only one so fortunate to have seen it.
You can bet I made a wish. :)
