A Little Practice is Needed :)

One of the things that Michael and I will have to learn and practice before the wedding is how to interlock our arms and look graceful as we drink the champagne after the toast!

These photos of our first attempts were snapped at the little engagement party that Mom and Dad threw for us a few days after we became engaged.

As you can see, we're deeply concentrating, asking ourselves, "What on earth are we doing wrong here?!"  Something just didn't seem right.

Dad and Mom later practiced on their own and then sent me an email, describing how to do it correctly.  Unfortunately, I've deleted that email and now I forget!  But I think Dad said something about the fact that we must both use our outer arms or something.  Or maybe it's that we need to both use our inner arms, the ones that are right beside one another.  Hmm.  Anyway, if we use the right pair of arms, we'll actually be facing each other when we do it.  So hopefully we can get this figured out!  Today we have exactly 105 days before the wedding...so we've got some time to practice!  :)
