The beautiful blue eggs of a robin's nest are sure to confirm that it is indeed Spring!
Mom and Dad emailed me these photographs last week. Apparently a robin made her nest above the light in front of their house! How precious!
Thank goodness for Mom and Dad because apparently Mrs. Robin was mid-flight when one of her eggs dropped out of her! Fortunately, the egg landed on the soft grass and did not crack open. So Dad gently scooped up the egg and placed it in the nest for her!
She has since come back to the nest and laid several more eggs. How cute!
And look at this beautiful basket of fresh flowers that Mom put out on the porch! Oh, how it makes me miss those serene days of living at home! Mom always puts a special touch on things to make home feel like home!
