She will probably dislike that I uploaded this picture of her to my blog, but I simply had to savor this image because it will forever represent that first week of Liam's life!
Mom very kindly spent lots of time with me during the first week to help me adjust to life as a new mommy.
She held Liam while I showered, washed all our dishes, did laundry for me, walked the dog, brought back lunch from my favorite sandwich shop, and did everything possible so that I might have more chances of actually SLEEPING when Liam sleeps.
This photo was snapped in the middle of the night, probably around 3 AM...because, when you have a newborn infant, it seems to ALWAYS be the middle of the night around 3 AM. :)
