Our Good-bye Dinner with Channing

My dear friend Channing entered Carmel this month.  I have so much to tell you about that!  But first, here are a few pictures of the night we took her out to dinner to say good-bye...

Liam was very sad to hear that she'd be leaving us...

But there was also a joy among us, the kind that emanates when a person has found her vocation!

We think about Channing's new life in the convent every day and pray for her when we do!
