What a great dish to make when your garden has an overabundance of ripe tomatoes during this autumn harvest season!
So where did I learn of this amazing recipe? I found it in the newspaper, and I still have the clipping in my recipe book.

And no matter how many times I make the tomato basil tart, it just doesn't taste as good as my mother's!
