A Little Girl's Dreams

I've probably told you before, but this is the girl I wanna be. I've almost got her body, being without curves and all.

But of course, she's much littler than me, and much more beautiful. I think her height is a petite 5 feet. That means any boy in her life can play hero quite easily. She has to be grateful, even when you simply grab something from the top shelf. Gosh, she probably says "thank you" more often than I do.

But perhaps we are more alike than different. On her back is a tattoo of a dove. On her ankle is a white goose. On her forearm is a word from an obscure piece of Scripture which spoke volumes to her and changed the course of her life.

And, if you know me well, then you know that doves, a fat white goose, and a particular verse from the Bible are all special treasures for me.

Maybe I don't want to be like her after all. I'm happy being myself. But we all need someone who inspires us and is cool beyond reach, encouraging us to move forward and daring us to dream. And Lacey Mosley from the rock band Flyleaf is my inspiration!
