Forgive me, dear reader, but I'm almost beginning to think that you won't believe me if I tell you that I encountered that special verse in the Bible for a 7th time this week and an 8th time today.I hadn't mentioned the 7th time to you yet because I encountered it only after opening my Bible pages randomly perhaps 10 times or so, one right after another. But I still encountered it.
And then tonight, at precisely midnight or 12:00 AM on Sunday, I felt called to put down my laptop and open my Bible. And so this I did, and on my third random page opening, there it was in Isaiah:
This shall be a sign for you:
This year, you shall eat the aftergrowth,
Next year, what grows of itself;
But in the third year, sow and reap,
Plant vineyards and eat their fruit!
Monday begins my third year! It is soon time to plant.
