The other weekend my dearest Abbybaby married her wonderful Matt!When I woke up that morning and saw the sun shining brightly, I knew Abby had been blessed with a gorgeous day!
She looked so radiant and beautiful, and Matthew looked so handsome!
They got married in a beautiful, open-air courtyard at a historic winery.
But this beautiful ceremony was actually their second! They had gotten married in a traditional Vietnamese wedding ceremony earlier that morning where Abby wore vibrant colors and a beautiful headdress! And Matt was all decked out in Vietnamese attire also!
I loved seeing my kindred spirit Becky, her husband Bob, and my beloved Godson David! They had come into town from North Carolina and were a special treat to see.Since I had gone solo to the wedding, during the slow songs, I told Becky and Bob to dance with each other while I would run around with and watch little David. I loved spending that quality time with him. He is a very smart little boy!
As his Godmother, I was excited to hear from Becky and Bob that already little David had been doing and saying things that made them scratch their heads and wonder if he was going to be a future priest. :-)
Many of my old friends from my high school days spent at the Grotto were at the wedding also.
It was great catching up and hitting the dancing the floor with them!
