The experience keeps me humble, really. If I can get enjoyment out of simple and ridiculous things, perhaps I am not so hard to please, after all.
This past week, it was the encounter of an exceedingly awesome rubber eraser that put a metaphorical spring in my step.
Lest you dismiss this eraser as ordinary, let's look a bit closer at it.
Observe how the colors are a delightful layering of chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. And while it is unfortunate that this model is not scented as it probably should be, this unique school supply makes up for it in other ways.
Notice how the whole eraser snugly fits into a quaint translucent pink finger gripper for ease of handling. Both the eraser and gripper are clean of any annoying and unsightly brand name advertising.
The eraser is flexible to bend but firm enough to rub effectively over graphite. It is certainly not dried out but nor is it overly moist, meaning that neither wasteful erasure crumbs nor unsavory streak marks will appear on paper when it is used.
The corners are a sharp 90-degrees and shall remain that way, for a girl who collects specialty erasers would never dare make a mistake!
