The Black Girl Inside Me :-)

There's a black girl inside me.

You would never know it, just looking at me. From the outside, I'm a white girl who decorates with pastel colors and French flair, as I was once told by an interior decorator.

But waaaaaay deep inside me, there's a super-fly hip-hop girl just bustin' to come out. Trust me.

According to scientific research as shown on the Chappell Show, certain rhythmic beats stimulate the attention of certain races of people.

A whining guitar riff, for example, will perk the ears of white men and women, no matter where they are, even if they're in the middle of a conference.

But for me, that does nothing.

It's the black man's beat boxin' and rhymin' that makes it irresistible for me to hold still. It's always been this way, for as long as I can remember. I'm a sucker for hip-hop and for screwed-n-chopped crunk from the dirty south. I love freestyle dance, and I can't do enough of it.

Seriously, why is my skin so pale?
