Her wedding comes up in December, which I am enormously excited about! I am so honored to be one of the girls in her wedding party. Eek! I cannot wait to wear my special bridesmaid dress that day!
Her mother and I have been planning a bridal shower for her over the last month or two. I couldn't wait for this day to come...for all of our plans to be unfurled!
So, I can now happily say that we (successfully!) threw a bridal shower for her this past Saturday, and boy, did we have fun! It was great to see Shannon enjoying herself, laughing with old friends and opening gifts that she absolutely loved.
Our guests seemed to love the food, decor, and games. What a relief it was to reach the conclusion, knowing that everything went as planned! (Or, at least I think!)Shannon's father and fiancee hid upstairs during the shower and watched football on TV until everyone left. Then they came downstairs to eat the leftovers!
