The Wedding of Paul & Theresa

Michael and I sure do have a LOT of friends that are tying the knot!

Since September, I'd say that just about every weekend we have a wedding to go to.  On some weekends, we've even had TWO.

At least we are used to the routine:  Michael picks me up, I'm running late (as usual), he signs the card, I resolve to put my heels and makeup on in the car, he grabs the invitation and enters the address into the GPS, and I write out the check while he drives.  And we usually arrive to the church just in time.  :)

I've forgotten to take my camera to some weddings we've attended recently, but here are a few snapshots from Paul & Theresa's special day!

The church they married in was absolutely gorgeous.  It was big and old and beautiful!  It was all made of stone.  :)

Paulie looked incredibly excited and very touched as Theresa came down the aisle.  Theresa look gorgeous in her beautiful gown.  These two are truly a wonderful Catholic couple that serves as a great example to the rest of us!  Here's a beautiful snapshot of them giving thanks to Our Lady just before the recessional at Mass.

Their reception was soooooo much fun.  The couple danced their first song to a song that Paul had written for Theresa!  Then Paul's Catholic rock band (Paging Samuel) performed for us.  After this, the DJ played dance music...and Michael and I couldn't resist staying on the dance floor all night!

That day, I wore 4-inch heels and somehow managed to dance in them!  I don't know how I did it!  The bride, however, was much more savvy: she sported comfy sneakers under her dress.  What a cute secret!

Congratulations, Paul and Theresa, on your beautiful marriage!  God bless you both!
