I'm a Godmother again!!

This weekend I had the honor of becoming a Godmother to little Jonathan, who is my dear kindred spirit Becky's second son.

I already have the honor of being her first born son's Godmother, and little David is simply precious to me!

So, this weekend, Michael and I flew to North Carolina for the big event.

Flying was absolutely thrilling for me, as it always is.  What a marvelous form of transportation!    (For a girl who prefers an aisle seat, I sure looked out the window a lot!)

Spending time at the house with Becky and her husband Bob was a treat.  Little Jonathan is absolutely ADORABLE, and he seemed fascinated with me, always looking at me with these wide open eyes and a dropped jaw, as if he knew that a special sacrament would soon unite us.  (At least, that is what I hoped he was thinking!!)

On the day of the baptism, we were joined by Bob's sister Jen, her husband, and their beautiful twin girls.  Also joining us was Bob's father and my good friend Meg, who had driven an hour from her new residence in North Carolina just to see me!

The weather in the Carolinas at this time of year is a balmy 70 degrees (or something near there).  It was as if we had stepped back into Spring, and so I was grateful for the layering of clothes I had worn and could shed at whim!   :)

Here are pictures from Jonathan's special weekend!  Thank you, Becky and Bob, for this honor once again!
