What a wonderful Thanksgiving that was!
This year, the women of my family, who normally cook up an incredible meal, got to take a much-needed break.
My wonderful mother and aunt have been working hard all year long, keeping constant vigil over my dear 94-year-old grandmother who lives in her own home but must not be kept alone.
As a result, we all decided to go out for Thanksgiving this year.
We feasted at a long wooden table with pewter dishes in an old-fashioned log cabin, where the waiters and waitresses wore clothing from the time period. The turkey was juicy, and the cranberries were sweet!
Here are a few pictures from our evening together. I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving, too!
