The Parade Down Memory Lane

When I was a kid growing up in Philadelphia, Mom and Dad would enter me in every single parade that they could.  Mom always sewed my costumes together by hand, and they were so good!!  As a result, I won so many awards!  What fun we had.

Here's me as Annie.  :)  That's my mom, keeping an eye on me by walking behind me...and my Dad's the one with the old-fashioned video camera, trying to capture every moment!

It's funny how certain things you remember so vividly.  I remember Dad offering me a drink of water every few feet that I walked.  He was so concerned that I would get overheated with all the walking I was doing.  I can even still see the plastic container he used.  He was offering it to me so many times that I memorized it!  Haha.
