The general premise of the game is that you start off as a priest and must work you way up to a bishop, then a cardinal, and then hopefully pope!
In my opinion, a good leader of the Church should have a strong moral compass, live a life of heroic virtue, be well-educated, fluent in multiple languages, a persuasive author, a captivating speaker, a good listener, a humanitarian, a peace-maker, and an inspiration to all of us!
I suspect that, in this game, you are presented with real-life decision-making that will either get you closer to or farther away from the papacy, based on those virtues. And, just as in the real Church, a Conclave is assembled to vote on who is to become the next pope!
The whole game seems like it will be very fun and educational to play! Michael and I need 4 more people to play. Anybody interested?
