At first, I felt guilty about this. To buy an artificial tree would mean that I would be the first generation in my family that didn't begin her family's first Christmas with a real tree.
But then I remembered that I love fake food and have fake flowers all over our house. So it's not hard to welcome a fake tree in our lives!
All trees were 20% off at the Home Depot on Black Friday weekend, and Michael's military ID card got us another 10% off. Score!
This past weekend, we listened to Christmas music as we decorated it. Macy seemed to enjoy watching us. So much fun!
