13 Hangs Out on the Afghan

As a math teacher, you knoooow I get excited when I encounter numbers in random places!!

Last night, while cuddled on our couch underneath my Grandmother's hand-knit afghan, my eye caught a glimpse of a wonderful prime number, relaxing in the same way that I was.

It was the number 13, printed on a microscopic sticker, presumably the kind that line inspectors stick on products, assuring you that everything's OK.

At least, that's what it made me think of.  Who knows where it came from!  But does it really matter, after all?

Now while most people would probably pick it off, squish it between their fingers, and trash it -- I left it exactly where it was.  :)
