The entire town of Cape May piled onto the sand after nightfall. Kids were covered in glow necklaces and bracelets, running and excitedly playing around.
We laid out on our blankets in the darkness and...waited. Then, finally, the explosions of color began!
We think the fireworks may have been launched from a boat (or several) out at sea. It was fun!
But I missed my mom especially, whose birthday is on the 4th of July. So Michael and I were sure to call her earlier in the day to wish her a happy birthday!
