Jesus' expression looks different now, I've noticed.
The big crucifix on the wall that had been the central focus of the Prayer Room is now the central focus of our Nursery.
Before, I always felt like Jesus was looking down off the cross at me. And He was, metaphorically speaking. Now I am certain that His loving eyes are gazing into that beautiful crib, already knowing the unique person who will soon fulfill it.
He created this child. And He has big plans for this child. In fact, He has a vocation for this child. He will be calling this child to sanctity, holiness, and eternal happiness with Him in Heaven. He loves this child just as much as He loves me! And God's love is truly mind-blowing.
