How A Mother Spends Her Day

Yesterday, for the first time ever since Liam was born, I decided to record every action I take throughout the day in caring for him. 

I was curious to know where my time was going.

Here's what I discovered!  In a 24-hour period:

• I spend 6 hours breastfeeding.

• I spend 1 hour changing diapers and clothes.

• I spend 1.25-hours a day doing "fun" activities that require my full attention and participation, such as giving him a bath, reading him a book, or taking him on a walk.

That's a 8.25-hour work day! 

But...my day doesn't end after that.  The rest of the time I'm narrating everything that I do, dancing as I do it, and singing along the way!

And I couldn't be happier.  :)
