It's Never Too Early, Right?! :)

The first gift that Liam "opened" from us on Christmas morning was this priestly vocation doll!  Isn't it just so cute?

It will be so much fun to teach Liam about our faith, and it will be so much fun to watch him discover what vocation God calls him to.

The plush priest doll is named Father Juan Pablo, and the box says that he's the pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mercyville, Pennsylvania.

He comes wearing a black cassock and carrying a mini mass kit.

The enclosed, full-color glossy book contains five, real-life religious vocation stories, featuring the the Dominicans, the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, the Diocese of Providence, and the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity!

Also included in the book are diagrams of how to pray the Rosary, a description of a priest's liturgical vestments, photographs and stories of various priests' formations, and prayers that a child can pray for discernment.  So beautiful!

I couldn't help but smile when Liam prayerfully folded his little hands together as we looked through the pages of the book.  :)
