Our Heavenly Date Night begins with mass, followed by a free dinner with other married couples who range in age from their early 30's to late 70's. Class is taught by a different couple each evening, and all of us are learning how to have a marriage that is nothing less than INCREDIBLY AWESOME. It was an offer we couldn't refuse.
This month, we renewed our wedding vows, learned strategies for better communication, and promised to pray more together as a couple. I'll admit that some of the goals have been challenging for us to meet in these first few weeks, but we're progressing. We're learning. We're communicating. We're growing. And through this, God willing, we will thrive.
