Last night around 1 AM, while I was sitting on the couch nursing Liam, my mother texted me this, in her signature style of all capital letters, just because it's easier:
1979. MY WATER IS ABOUT TO BREAK. PAINS THEN START. 5 MIN. APART. WILL CALL DOC AT 2 AM. LEAVE HOUSE AT 2:30.
We texted back and forth a bit, as she fondly recalled this night 34 years ago. Then this morning, at exactly the moment I was born (6:29 AM), she sent me this:
I am so blessed to have the mother that I do. Thank you, Mom, for pushing me into this world with such love. :)
