Today something new happened in the bird cage!
Pure and Innocent (pictured left and right, respectively) actually shared a few French kisses! Their beaks opened up and locked together, presumably so that their little tongues could swirl around each other joyfully. It was so cute!
I ran for my camera, and although I didn't capture their French kisses (I think there might have been 5 or 6), I at least got a 10-minute video of them necking which also included short little gentle kisses on the beak. So cute!! Afterwards, they puffed up into little happy balls of fluff, cozily sitting next to each other as they enjoyed the breeze coming through my window. Ah, the life of a dove!
