On Friday, Marian and I went to see The Josh Albright Band, which my friend Josh leads. The music and vocals were extraordinary and were nothing like I expected. They have a special flare, which seems to set them apart from the ordinary local or regional rock band. These guys are going more places than just New York, and I made a mental note of it. :-)
After the show, we were supposed to join the guys in the band on a little excursion to Molly's, where we'd meet up with Brooke, Daniel, and a few others. But Marian and I unexpectedly opted out, deciding instead to talk on my couch until the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes important "girl talk" just has to take precedence!
