Take it Outside onto the Lawn!

I've really been joying the graduate classes I'm enrolled in this summer.

I'm currently in my third of four classes I will take this season.

The days are long (10 hours each), but my current professor is awesome and lets us take frequent breaks -- and even lets us do our group work outside on the lawn!

The weather each day has been brilliant and beautiful.

My classmates are chatty and fun. We're sharing snacks and eating constantly, and if I had a better mind for remembering names, I'm sure I'd be adding to my Facebook friend list.

When we're in the classroom, my bare legs periodically get brushed by fur, and my flip-flopped feet sometimes get sniffed by a cold, wet nose. This is because Odin the Dachshund is the class pet, and he's just adorable.

Homework can be handed in at any time but isn't due until 2 weeks after the last class. Sweet!

I graduate with my master's degree in September, but I might just keep this routine up.

I could go for a second master's or go right on toward a doctorate, the latter of which sounds much more exciting to me. If I could just do some triangulation with my undergraduate thesis, then I'd be half-way done with my doctoral dissertation!
