Yes, the headline is real; I've got a pretty kick-butt eraser collection. I've been building it my whole life.
My love of school supplies is the REAL reason why I went into education. Sure, educating the minds of our future generations is important, but what could be more fun than being in a profession where it's encouraged to always have a good eraser out on your desk?
Today, as I proctored the PSSA Test to our students, I read the scripted directions aloud, which said, "Please make sure you have two sharpened Number 2 pencils on your desk, as well as a good eraser."
And while the kids did have good erasers, certainly the BEST ones were on MY desk. :)
