If a man can hold your purse...

I love when I see an elderly man, dutifully holding his wife's purse, perhaps for an extended period of time, completely unaware of how he might look, given that he's so used to guarding it for her.

Perhaps they've been married for 60 years, I'll imagine.  Maybe he's held onto it when her young arms were joyfully holding their children, and now he's holding it when her wrinkled arms are clinging to a walker.

His holding of her purse is representative of him holding her heart.  He's done it for years and only death will stop his devotion.

If a man is willing to hold your purse and not feel ashamed, it is a very good thing.  :)

Needless to say, I smiled when I walked out of a port-a-pottie and saw this!
