Brad Stars in Thirteen!

In the month of February, at just 5.5 months old, our Little Liam saw his first play.  It lasted 2.5 hours, and he sat through and watched almost all of it!  I knew he was hungry; and, although he attempted it a few times, there was just too much to see on stage to worry about snacking.  He'd rather eat later and watch now.  And so we did!

The exciting thing about this play was that the lead actor was my youngest cousin Brad!  He was Evan in Thirteen, an Oscar-nominated, coming-of-age story, showing with honesty and passion the unhinged joy and angst of hitting modern adolescence with full force.  Adapted from the 2003 somewhat racy movie, this school-appropriate version had a male star instead of a female one, and Brad did an excellent job!  He sang, danced, knew all his lines, spoke with expression, and even break-danced!  Who knew that the youngest guy at our family gatherings had such talent!!  Way to go, Brad!
